%T Reservoir characterization to improve exploration concepts of the Upper Jurassic in the southern Bavarian Molasse Basin
%X The geothermal utilization of the Upper Jurassic reservoir in the Molasse Basin should be increased in the future, however the well productivity decreases to the southern basin part. Hitherto, systematic studies of the Upper Jurassic reservoir are missing, particularly about the decrease in well productivity toward the Alps. The aim of the study was to characterize (i) the depositional environment and lithology, (ii) the diagenesis, and (iii) the dolomitization.
