It also gives a list of seismic sites and description of measurement procedures applied in the discussed region thus far. We mainly focus on seismicity of the Podhale region, the Pieniny Klippen Belt and the Beskids. At the moment there are 5 seismic stations in the Podhale region, which record the permanent weak seismic activity at the level of 0.5 ≤ ML ≤ 2.3. In this paper we estimated the completeness of catalogs and the distribution of magnitude exceedance probability for events in the Podhale region. date: 2015-03 date_type: published publisher: Springer International Publishing place_of_pub: Cham pagerange: 103-118 pages: 103 isbn: 978-3-319-15446-6 book_title: Studies of Historical Earthquakes in Southern Poland editors_name: Guterch, Barbara editors_name: Kozák, Jan editors_id: bguterch@igf.edu.pl editors_id: official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/978-3-319-15446-6_4 access_IS-EPOS: limited owner: Publisher citation: Plesiewicz, Beata and Wiszniowski, Jan (2015) Seismicity of Polish Part of the Western Carpathians in the Light of Recent Data.
