The method of calculation is presented first, and then it is applied to sixty mine tremors from Rudna mine, from the period 1990-1991. Calculations were performed using twelve different variations of the method. For each individual event the best solution was chosen. Energies were calulated for there solutions from the obtained (scalar) seeismic moment. Their comparision with the energies of events measured by the mine is found to be poor. The obtained solutions often contain a substantial non-shear component.
