Mining seismicity has a long history in Chinese coal mines, among which Laohutai coal mine in Fushun city, which is located in Liaoning Province northeast of China, is a typical one [1]. Laohutai mine is located at the south edge of Fushun city. Its geographical coordinates are: east longitude 123º54'42''–123º58'17'', north latitude 41º51'07''–41º52'10''. The mine is 4.95 km from east to west and about 2 km from south to north, so the mine area is about 10 km2. date: 2004-11-10 date_type: published publication: International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Sciences volume: 42 number: 1 publisher: Elsevier pagerange: 145-151 id_number: doi:10.1016/j.ijrmms.2004.08.001 refereed: TRUE issn: 1365-1609 official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.ijrmms.2004.08.001 access_IS-EPOS: limited owner: Publisher citation: Cai, M.
